Mindfulness is a life-enhancing practice that enables us to expand our conscious awareness and general presence. Mindful awareness allows us to become more sensitive to what is occurring in the present moment, both within ourselves and in the outside world. Mindfulness can be defined as intentionally bringing awareness to the present moment in a non-judgmental way. This skill is developed through engaging with systematic training in regular meditation practices and bringing mindful awareness and acceptance into daily life and work.
Remaining mindful in your daily life takes practice, as most people are so used to living in the past or the future that they let the present moment slip away unnoticed and un-enjoyed. While we may not have control over what happens in life, we do have control over how well we are prepared to deal with it, mindfulness promotes calm, clarity and focus to that end. With practice, you can master this skill and it will serve you in many ways.
Mindfulness Training

Cost: $600.00 “in studio”
Includes: Textbook, Workbook and all course materials.
Duration: Each class will be 90 minutes and meet once a week for 6 weeks.
Focus: Each class will focus on specific mindfulness exercises, small group activities, reflection and homework.
